Now offering monthly retainers

A developer who already knows your business.

For clients whose businesses keep moving, and whose sites need a developer who can move with them.

Your website moves with your business, your season, your offer. The person best equipped to keep up is the one who already knows it.

What's actually different here

01

You don't re-explain your site every time.

I already know it. And I keep a living record (the Site Brain) of every change, customization, brand decision, and integration we make. When you come back next month, I pick up where we left off.

02

New platform features show up on your site the moment they're useful.

I work in Squarespace, Shopify, Webflow, and Showit every day. That depth means I know what's coming down the pipeline, what to avoid, and what's worth using on your site. You don't have to wait for the rest of the internet to catch up.

03

Your tools start working together instead of against each other.

Most slowdowns happen between your tools, not inside the site. Your scheduler isn't talking to your email platform, your e-commerce isn't feeding your analytics, your CRM is doing its own thing. I find those friction points and clean them up.

04

I get ideas across the finish line.

Visionaries rarely get stuck at the idea. They get stuck in the middle: knowing exactly what they want, and not having the right person to build it with them. I've spent my career in that middle, working alongside founders to map their ideas into steps and ship the pieces that live on their sites.

Two ways to work together, one optional add-on.

My a la carte rate is $250/hour. Both retainer tiers come in lower, because your hours buy something different when we're working together every month: faster context, ongoing thinking, and a developer who already knows your site.

FAQ

Questions you might have.

  • Yes, but we start with a one-time Site Brain Intake ($1,500) before the retainer begins. I audit your site, build out your Site Brain documentation, and give you a punch list of immediate fixes plus a tier recommendation. Then we roll into your retainer with the same foundation as everyone else.

Skipping this step would mean spending retainer hours on me learning your site, which isn't a good use of your money or my time.

  • My job as your strategic partner is to make sure you never have to ask this question. On Steady, I'm watching for things to fix and improve. On Strategic, I'm bringing you ideas every month: things to test, optimize, or build that move your business forward.

Hours don't roll over because the goal is for them to be used meaningfully, not stacked up for later. If we're consistently under your hours, that's a signal we should probably talk about whether you're on the right tier.

  • Most requests get touched within the same week you send them, often the same day. Work happens async through a shared doc, so you can drop something in at any time and I'll pick it up next time I'm in.

Strategic clients get priority, which in practice means same-day acknowledgment and a clear timeline back to you within 24 hours.

  • Tier changes happen at the start of each 3-month cycle. If you want to step down or remove the Build Block, just let me know 30 days before your current cycle ends and we'll adjust at renewal.

Upgrades are different. If you're growing into more proactive work or need the Build Block for a launch, you can move up anytime. I'll prorate the difference for the rest of your current cycle.

  • Big projects get scoped and quoted separately. Retainer hours are for the ongoing work of running and refining your site. A full redesign or platform migration is a different conversation with its own timeline and fee.

We can absolutely do both at the same time, and your retainer keeps running for everything else.

  • It renews into another 3-month cycle automatically. If you want to cancel, switch tiers, or pause for a slow season, let me know 30 days before your current cycle ends.

The 3-month structure exists because meaningful strategic work needs runway. Booking month-by-month would mean we'd always be in setup mode, never in flow.
